Alicia Keys - Element of Freedom
- the main image is a large off centred image of artist with eyes closed, subtle make-up - creates a sense of calm and relaxation. She is wearing a dress of colourful feathers which is a reference to birds which can be seen as a symbol of freedom (especially in the US)
- Different shades of purple "mountains" in background, purple to white sky, clouds all adds to the calm feel of the album cover.
- Large "Broadway" font, white - "Alicia Keys"
- "the element of" purple font, different sizes, "element" is larger to show that it is the most important word.
- "freedom" purple, large, stylised calligraphy font.
- "ALICIA KEYS" - large font and right next to artist's face - gives her an identity and confirms that it is her album.
- "the element of FREEDOM" - freedom is in a different font which can symbolise her freedom from conformity and independence as an established artist in the industry
- the CD is purple with images of birds - still fits in with the theme of the front cover.
